Kim Brown NP

Kim Brown is a board certified nurse practitioner who earned her MSN from South University and holds her certification as a family nurse practitioner. She dedicated many years to nursing, with most of her career in critical care and transplant. For the past seven years, she served as a nurse practitioner within a clinic and hospital based cardiology group. Kim is a strong advocate for a collaborative relationship between patient and provider, believing it to be vital for enhancing the healthcare experience. She is committed to building lasting relationships with her patients and providing continuity of care, and providing education to empower informed decisions about their healthcare. She is very excited to be joining Thrive Medical to become part of a group providing patient centered care.

Kim is originally from Austin but has also lived in Dallas, New Mexico, San Antonio, and Mexico, but will always call Austin home. Most of her free time is spent with her large extended family. She also enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures and history.
